Fight Gone Bad
By Mike | September 30, 2007
I participated in the 2007 Fight Gone Bad fundraiser that raised over $250,000 for the Prostrate Cancer Foundation. A big thank you to everyone who donated for me.
The event was a CrossFit workout of three five minute rounds. Each round was one minute of five different exercises. The exercises were wall ball, sumo high pull deadlift, box jump, push press, and rowing. We were scored by adding up the reps from each exercise and counting calories on the rower. I scored 227.
I did the workout with my coach Chris from CrossFit Fort Collins at Front Range CrossFit in Denver.
For the wall ball, we had to move a 20 pound medicine ball from a squatting position to an 8 foot high target. Wall ball is my favorite!

The sumo high pull deadlift was with a 75 pound barbell, lifting it from the ground up to nose height.

The box jump was up and down on a 2 foot box. This is my second favorite.

The push press was also done with a 75 pound barbell. I hate the push press.

We rowed on a Concept 2 rower.

This is me just after the workout. I am actually alive in this picture….

Once again, we had a great time with the men and women at Front Range CrossFit.
