William’s parties or Toddlers R Us
By Julie | March 10, 2010
February was a very busy month at the Estlick household. William’s 2nd birthday was honored with family gatherings, special prince-like treatment at school and topped off with a friends’ bash at a park on a beautiful early March day.
Birthday month kicked off with a visit from Nana Kaster and Uncle Dougie. We managed to work in both early Valentine’s Day fun and a celebration of Doug (Jan.), Nana (mid-Feb.) and Will’s birthdays. WHEW!
WOW. A new outfit AND another Elmo!

“A lesson in blowing out candles” – very Norman Rockwell-esque.

Next came Auntie Tina, Uncle Seth, Grammy and Papa Estlick’s visit just before V-Day. The guys came through with beautiful bouquets from Mike’s favorite florist – and we got to keep them all. Bonus!
We were able to catch up and Will basked in all the attention, walks and trips around town and meals out.
A more traditional party with an awesome Elmo train cake brought smiles to everyone.

“Yummy!” Will is saying please and thank you regularly now and there was lots of “More Peas” with signing. Ironic considering he hates peas!

He was giddy opening more cool presents.

Toddler scooter. Will rides this around the neighborhood with Daddy on his skateboard.
